Jakub is one of the maintainers of the Strimzi project which is part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and focuses on running Apache Kafka on Kubernetes. He is also a contributor to Apache Kafka itself and many other open-source projects. He currently works for Red Hat as Senior Principal Software Engineer. Before joining Red Hat he worked as a developer and architect in the financial industry. He is a member of the Project Management Committee of the Apache Qpid project and a member of the AMQP Technical Committee at OASIS.
