Introduction of the new library, that comes directly from kernel's perf tool sources with interface to count and sample perf events. I'll introduce and show the current interface on examples. I'll also describe the planned functionality that will be ported from perf tool in future.
Jiri works for RedHat full time on Linux as kernel generalist engineer in Brno office, Czech Republicech Republic. He currently divides his work time between upstream perf work and maintaining RHEL perf.
